Thank you for sharing a slice of your journey with me. It's often hard to picture the creator behind the craft, but I learn time and time again, a genuine connection is prerequisite to great, authentic photos.
So here goes:
I'm Sammy. I'm also the erye (ee-ray) in erye.film - taken from my Korean name. I'm a film and documentary photographer based in Hong Kong, but you'll find me travelling all over. There's no words to describe the brimming love I have for what I do, and the couples I get to serve.
I've always carried an affinity for people first, and colours second.
approach
I am sensitive by nature and easily malleable. I like to mould myself into who you need on your shooting day: Attentive, fun, encouraging — if you're in need of a creative outlet or a friend to hype you up; comfortable and vigilant - so you can ugly cry if you need to, or share an intimate moment. My role is to polish myself into the best medium to draw out your authenticity.
To me, photos are about capturing real stories from real people so you'll often find me asking personal questions and sharing bits of myself. I would love to hear about your life!
